Patients can enter an electronic diary via mobile phone or website, recording subjective symptoms, medication quantities, and numeric measurements for peak flow (PEF). This information is automatically sent to a central server with a website that can be accessed by clinicians or case managers. The clinician can view historical data and charts showing trends, also environmental data such as local pollution levels can be displayed simultaneously.
